Today Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko held a meeting with His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf King of Sweden.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues on European integration of Ukraine and prospects of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Sweden, in particular, investments and trade.

“Ukraine and Sweden are united not only by identical colors of the national flags but by the history, the present and, I believe in it very much, common European future,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated.

“I highly appreciate the level of bilateral cooperation between our countries and very pleased to meet the leader of this country,” His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf King of Sweden stated.

The sides also discussed issues on energy saving and diversification of energy supply sources.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko also said that our country is interested in Swedish technologies for bioethanol production and participation in the creation of European biofuels market.
