
The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc would win early parliamentary elections. This according to the results of a public opinion poll conducted by FOM-Ukraine.
If elections to the Verkhovna Rada had been held on August 24, 2008, 23.4% of votes would go to BYuT. The Party of Regions would come in second with 20.3%. In Third and fourth place with 4.6% would be Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense and the Communist Party. Next, with 2.8% would be the Lytvyn Bloc.
2000 individuals over the age of 18 were polled in 160 communities in Ukraine between August 8-24, 2008. The sampling error is +/- 2%.
