In the course of today’s sitting the Government means to consider the State target program of reforming and developing the defense-industrial complex for the period till 2013. Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko told opening a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers. This document was drafted by the Ministry of Industrial Policy.

“We have to look strategically now over development of the domestic defense-industrial complex and make it efficient, provide our army with all necessary and have adequate fighting readiness,” the Head of Government underscored.

Moreover, today the Government will consider the draft Law of Ukraine “On military-technical cooperation with foreign states”.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko, these two documents will enable to approach strategically reformation of the defense-industrial complex.
