Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko congratulated bronze medal winners at the 29th Summer Olympic Games in diving Illya Kvasha and Oleksiy Pryhorov (Men's Synchronized 3m Springboard) and Nataliya Davydova in weightlifting (Women's 69kg).
“I congratulate you on winning bronze medals at the Olympic Games in Beijing,” wrote Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in her telegram to Kvasha and Pryhorov.
“Your achievement is not only an extremely important gift for millions of fans, but also a contribution toward strengthening Ukraine’s image among the global community,” Tymoshenko is convinced.
Tymoshenko wished the Olympic athletes and their trainers “health, energy and fate in future victories for the good of Ukraine.”
In her telegram to Davydova, Tymoshenko wrote: “I heartily congratulate you and your instructors on striking Olympic victory.”
“Today millions of Ukrainians share your joy, as your success consolidates not only the pride of every citizen for their state but strengthens Ukraine’s prestige in the international arena,” Yulia Tymoshenko noted.
The Prime Minister wished the winner “happiness, sports aspiration, success and to hold high the Ukrainian flag on all sports podiums in the future.
