Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko promises that gas intermediaries will disappear from the Ukrainian market “over the next few months.” She stated this during her opening remarks at Wednesday’s session of government.
According to Tymoshenko, she spoke about this with Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Alexei Miller on Tuesday.
“Yesterday we discussed all these issues in detail, and found ways to once and for all close all the problems with the ineffective model that was used in Ukraine,” she said.
“I think that in the next few months we will truly be able to switch to a truly open scheme and clear relations with Gazprom,” noted the Premier.
