Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko had stated that the government will not allow abuses and machinations around the Odesa-Brody pipeline.

She made this statement while answering questions from journalists during a working visit to Ternopil.

According to Tymoshenko, the Presidential Secretariat is attempting to make another deal on the Odesa-Brody pipeline. They are making agreements with off-shore businesses that do not comply with international projects.

“RosUkrEnergo didn’t succeed, they didn’t succeed in taking the Black Sea shelf with the largest gas deposits away from Ukraine, and this stunt – taking Odesa-Brody to their off-shore zones – won’t succeed,” stated Tymoshenko.

The Premier also noted that everything currently going on around the Odesa-Brody pipeline is RosUkrEnergo-3. “Perhaps such projects will be implemented at some point, but not in the next 20 years, while our team is in power,” she stressed.
