Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko held a telephone talk with Volodymyr Lytvyn regarding the proposed by the Lytvyn bloc “Plan of extraordinary actions in terms of overcoming a political crisis and consolidation of the society” and in general positively evaluates this instrument.
No doubt, some points of this Plan have to be the subject for a serious discussion but unquestioning, according to Yulia Tymoshenko, appears an idea of holding an all-Ukrainian council in the shape of a special sitting of the Verkhovna Rada with participation of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders of local authorities and self-government bodies.
Yulia Tymoshenko views as especially worthwhile an idea to fix in the proposed by Volodymyr Lytvyn joint agreement “a clear and unambiguous interpretation and applying of disputable principles of the Constitution.”
Besides, Yulia Tymoshenko agreed with Volodymyr Lytvyn that “Ukraine and the people have to gain a feeling of stability and predictability of changes of positive character.”
Prime Minister urges the President, leaders of parliamentary factions and extraparliamentary political forces to treat with great attention the proposition of the Lytvyn bloc, to thoroughly study the subject and in the end to come to holding of an all-Ukrainian council, proposed by this political force.
