The atomic energy development plan in the Zaporizhzhia oblast envisages the construction of new energy blocks and nuclear power plants.
Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko announced this during a meeting on the state of affairs and outlook for the development of nuclear energy and Ukraine’s atomic industry in the Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Yulia Tymoshenko noted that during the meeting an agreement was reached on creating a strategic plan for developing atomic energy in the region, the main priority of which should be prolonging the work of existing energy blocks and constructing new owes.
She also announced that during a meeting with the oblast leadership “we clearly worked on three directions of cooperation,” specifically, environmental problems, financing of bridges and development of the “Zaporizka Sich” complex.
