Areas under crops were extended by 14% this year. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told at the beginning of the Government sitting. We have today above a 14% increase in areas under wheat and it means not just that we’ll have bread but we’ll have a very good harvest,” Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized.

She also informed that today the Government would listen to information of Ministry of Agrarian Policy Yuriy Melnyk about the process of spring-field works and the structure of sown areas of agricultural crops for 2008.
