Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko stated that WWII veterans have received a one time increase in monetary assistance in honor of May 9.

The Prime Minister also assured today during a press conference that next year the government will significantly increase assistance in honor of May 9. According to the Prime Minister, this year’s one time May 9 payment was higher than last year’s.

The Prime Minister greeted all participants of WWII and all those who were involved in the victory during this war.

“I want to thank them and say that every kopeck that the government will find in its battle with the shadow economy and corruption will be used to help the citizens of Ukraine.”
