
The Council of Investors under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has supported a proposal of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko on election Serhiy Tyhipko as a co-chairman. Such decision was adopted by participants of the constituent session of the Council of Investors under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine unanimously.
Co-chairman from the Ukrainian Government will be Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.
Nominating chairman of the “TAC-Group” Board of Directors Serhiy Tyhipko for the post of co-chairman of the Council of Investors Yulia Tymoshenko noted that this person has the managerial abilities, great work experience in the Government and knows the corridors of power perfectly well. The Head of Government told also that Serhiy Tyhipko automatically becomes the Prime Minister’s adviser.
Moreover, 5 working groups of separate directions have been created within the Council of Investors under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In particular, the groups occupied with issues on stock market, currency regulation, macroeconomics, agrarian and food markets as well as groups working at drafting of bills on concession and private and state partnership.
The Prime Minister proposed to hold sessions of the Council of Investors monthly and during every session to compile a list of priority issues for the following Council’s session. At that Yulia Tymoshenko noted that “the Council is to work not only when we assemble” and urged its participants to self-organization.
