The Government has drafted a program on reduction of natural gas consumption. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told at press conference today. According to her, the Government has developed “a succinct but very efficient program on reduction of natural gas consumption in Ukraine”. As the Prime Minister says, the program comprises 15 action items implementation of which will allow radically reducing volumes of natural gas consumed by Ukraine already till next winter.

Yulia Tymoshenko stated that program on energy saving is of priority significance for the Government and now the officials are working at this program. “Every day I will personally deal with this issue so that we could achieve significant reduction of natural gas consumption for the next winter,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine noted.
