During a meeting with management of the agricultural enterprises LLC Elita and OJSC Terezyne in the Bila Tserkva raion of the Kyiv oblast, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko highlighted priority guidelines for the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex, which will improve their efficiency and work.
According to the Head of Government, these priorities include: ensuring quality of Ukrainian lands; creating favorable conditions for foreign and domestic investors; guaranteeing access to credit for all those who want to be involved in agriculture.
The Prime Minister also believes that an important priority is improving the efficiency for processing agrarian raw materials and finding sales markets for them.
Yulia Tymoshenko noted that it’s necessary to produce quality and ecologically friendly goods, which will give Ukraine the opportunity to occupy a significant share of the sales market in other countries as part of membership in the World Trade Organization.
Another important priority is the development of renewable sources of energy, specifically the production of biofuels.
