Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko promises to stop high inflation within half a year and names not provided emission as its reason.

Speaking today in Donetsk at a meeting with Zasyadko mine staff the Head of Government informed that during the last six months the National Bank carried out “huge emission, which is absolutely not provided with goods.”

“Now we are removing this system, but it will take approximately half a year because huge amount of money was thrown out with no adequate provision,” - the Prime Minister said.

Tymoshenko noted thus that the government will take measures “to remove this amount of money from the market.”

Head of Government named as another reason of inflation a monopoly collusion that caused rise in prices at some markets, in particular sugar and oil markets.
