Yulia Tymoshenko called upon people to support early elections to the Verkhovna Rada from the stage on Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) on Saturday evening.
"When it is spring, buds are opening and we are saying goodbye to winter , it is necessary also to bid farewell to the Supreme Soviet, so that new Ukraine could be born as a new star in the sky", - Tymoshenko made a poetic mark.
"We appeal our President, who has all reasons to announce new elections and not only the right but duty to dissolve the parliament of traitors, to conduct early fair elections where, there is no doubt, democratic forces will win, - she is sure.
"Who is for the early elections to be declared today? Raise your hands", - asked Tymoshenko, looking, as most people on Maidan raised their hands. "And who votes for the sixth failure of treading on the same rake and continue negotiations?" - she asked then.
Tymoshenko gave examples of the early elections in Portugal and in Germany in 2005, in the Netherlands in 2006, in Japan in 2000 and 2005 and in Austria in 2002.
She emphasized that in the case of the early elections arrangement of forces in the parliament will not remain the same.
"Traitors-socialists will not get places in the parliament. No moral person will give his voice for Moroz", - considers Tymoshenko. "Will there be found at least one ideological communist who votes for communists after they went under the shelter of oligarchs?", - asked she.
According to Tymoshenko, 300 votes in the parliament coalition mean abolition of the position of president, "abolition of the rests of our official language status", "it is change of the internal and external course of reforms".
Tymoshenko emphasized that at present political situation "Ukraine is at a stone’s throw from entering the Common economic space".
"It is not bad for people and families to be friends, it is not bad to execute joint economic projects, but who gave a right to introduce Ukraine as a member of the super state body of the Common economic space, where only 11% in a decision-making belongs to Ukraine, and 80% - to another country? Who gave a right to these politicians to turn our state sovereignty into semblance of the Soviet Union?", - asked Tymoshenko.
"We can wake up in the morning and find ourselves in the Common economic space", - she marked.
Timoshenko rejected the thesis of pro-governmental coalition about the necessity of stability in the country. "I would like to remind that for the sake of stability Zaporizka Sich was ruined. And Valuyev’s decree on prohibition of Ukrainian language was adopted for the sake of stability. Weren’t Stus, Lukyanenko, Chornovil imprisoned for the sake of stability? We said “NO” to their stability. Because this is stability of mafia", - underlined Tymoshenko.
The rally on Maidan unanimously approved the resolution with appeal to President Viktor Yushchenko to dissolve the parliament immediately.
