Julia Timoshenko considers that President Victor Yushchenko must be the leader of Narodnyj Soyuz Nasha Ukraina party ( People’s Union Our Ukraine).

She declared about it during the live evening broadcast on 5 Kanal (Channel 5) on Sunday, March, 18.

"It is obvious for every common citizen, that President Victor Yushchenko is the real leader of Nasha Ukrajina ("Our Ukraine"), and whoever is placed at this position with some momentary voting, Victor Yushchenko is, and will be actual leader of Nasha Ukraina ("Our Ukraine"), - Tymoshenko commented.

In opinion of BYUT leader, "if Yushchenko for some reason really abandons Nasha Ukraina ("Our Ukraine"), his party will not win even 0,5% (during the elections)".

"I consider that transparent policy means coincidence of the real leader with documentary confirmed one", - Tymoshenko said.

As it is known, NSNU (People’s Union Our Ukraine) party congress will take place on March, 31; its agenda in particular includes a point about the election of the party leader.

Now NSNU party Council is guided by the Head of the Secretariat of the President Victor Baloga.
