Prime Minster Yulia Tymoshenko will pay an official visit to European institutions in Brussels on January 28-29.
According to the visit program, on January 28 the Head of the Ukrainian Government will meet with President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and Chairman of the European Parliament Hans-Gert Pottering.
That day Yulia Tymoshenko will deliver a speech at the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs and hold a meeting with Secretary General of the European People’s Party Antonio Lopez Isturiz.
The visit program also includes a working dinner between Prime Minister Tymoshenko and Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs and EU Coordinator of the Nabucco gas pipeline project Jozias van Aartsen.
On 29 January Yulia Tymoshenko will hold a number of meetings. In particular, the Head of the Ukrainian Government will meet with the European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner, EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson, and Vice President of the European Commission, EU Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security Franco Frattini. A working dinner is planned with Secretary General of the EU Council of Ministers, High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana. The Prime Minister of Ukraine will also meet with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt.
