Health of the people – is the most precious property of every nation, every state therefore, in a democratic, just society such sphere of activity should be priority.
On the World AIDS Day I express deep respect and gratitude to all those who is struggling against HIV/AIDS.
One of the most important tasks of the Ukrainian Government is the creation of efficient diagnostic, treatment and prevention systems for this socially dangerous disease, creation of proper conditions for psychological adaptation of HIV-infected AIDS patients.
I am confident we should proceed with close cooperation with non-governmental, public and international organizations so that the positive achievements in preventing the HIV/AIDS spreading remain the focus of attention.
